Savile Row Street Party September 2018
Luna Larder was delighted to cater the Savile Row Street Party in September. A night to celebrate the next generation of British Tailoring. With Seasonal, British canapés including the classic 'Coronation chicken with sumac and coriander cress in a filo cup', Ripe English Figs were showcased on Poppyseed wafers with whipped ricotta and hazelnut dukkah to name a few. Working alongside Berkley Square Gin, clove studded grapefruits infused the delicious cocktails on what was a perfect Indian Summer's evening for the 400 guests.
Luna Larder catered the Book Launch of Amanda Brookfield's memoir 'For the Love of a Dog'. The evening was run by Grace Pigott, of 'With Grace' Event Planners. The Luna Larder team served a selection of canapés, including the staple Porcini and parmesan arancini with white truffle aioli, never one to miss a party. A new addition of Gruyere Gougeres went down a storm, choux buns oozing with molten gruyere and hot paprika. Guests were warmed with bowls of Crown Prince Chilli, black rice with lime, mint and creme fraiche. Home-cured beetroot salmon sat prettily upon mini bagels to end the savoury offering. 'Always room for pudding' was a proven motto when the miniature pavlovas topped with golden berries circulated; especially as the Dark Chocolate and sea salt brownie bites were cut just small enough to justify two or three!
