The Day

Find yourself in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds, away from the hustle and bustle. 

 

10:30 am Arrival and welcome tea

11:00 am Spring Vinyasa Flow

12:15 pm 'Explore deeper' Workshop 

1:15 pm Nutritious seasonal Lunch and talk at the Court House followed by some time to digest and take a stroll in the beautiful surroundings.

3:30 pm -5.00 pm - Grounding Yin and Meditation

Costs - Book for the day or make it a weekend away to escape and fully relax, details below

£75 for the full day including two yoga practices, an hours workshop, hearty lunch, a talk on nutrition and related ideas and a goodie bag to take home.

 

Retreat and Room Packages also available from £135.00 for a room at the Court House (limited spaces) or we can book one of the nearby Bed and Breakfasts for you. Enquire for further details.

OUR SPRING RETREAT

 

Lara and Jules are so excited to bring you a Spring Day Retreat. 

Take care of yourself this spring and move, rebalance and connect with our second in the series of our seasonally inspired escapes in the beautiful Cotswolds. The day will include two practices, a morning's empowering Vinyasa flow and afternoon's calming Yin, focusing on ways to ground, let go of old energy and open up to the sweetness of ‘new beginnings’ as the ‘sweetness of the unfolding present moment', a workshop to delve deeper and a hearty lunch with plenty of nutritional inspiration. There will be time to enjoy the stunning surrounds and be inspired by the season that celebrates light, renewal and new beginnings, a day dedicated to regathering your energies to find the sweetness of the now. The perfect way to spend a Spring day!

 

The yoga is suitable for all levels and accessible to beginners.

 

Everything will be taken care of so you can let go and immerse yourself, taking the time to balance your energy and give yourself the time to enjoy, re-connect with yourself and meet with like-minded people.

 

 

 

 

ABOUT LARA AND JULES

 

‘Our day retreats are inspired by our love of nature, good food, laughter and sharing yoga and conversation.’

Lara is a chef and yoga teacher with a huge knowledge of health, nutrition, yoga and creative cooking. She began her training by returning to her Irish roots at Ballymaloe, where her joy for 'field to fork' honest, healthy food begun and has since cooked in some of the finest restaurants, events and private homes all over the world. She brings her creative flair and eye for detail to her food, her yoga practice along with her sense of fun, real insight and warmth. 

 

Jules is a yoga practitioner, amateur ‘foodie’, music lover and table setter extraordinaire (she loves creating table displays!) She was introduced to yoga nearly ten years ago by her mother and since deepening her knowledge with her teachers in India, Tiffany Cruikshank and The Yoga People. She has since shared this knowledge in Verbier, Switzerland and now London where she is constantly evolving her practice and looking for ways to communicate and facilitate a space where people can move to find a deeper connection with themselves whilst having fun along the way!

Lara and Jules met three winters ago in the Swiss ski town of Verbier, whilst both working for super-luxury chalet operators. Finding that they needed to take some time to rebalance they began practising yoga together and talking and creating a lot of food! When they both spent this summer in India practising with their teacher Mittra and sampling the delicious specialities that India has to offer, they further discovered the power of yoga and food to bring people together and enhance lives. Their aim is to cater their days to each group and individual’s practices and leave them feeling empowered, connected and inspired to delve deeper into what they love, in the kitchen, on the mat and in their daily lives.
